The system has been designed for constructing and manufacturing light curtain walls, both hanging and filling, as well as roofs, skylights and other spatial structures.  The structure is made of vertical and horizontal aluminium sections. Special shape of poles and bolts results in slender and yet very durable profiles. Profiles featuring external corners rounded with 2.5 mm radii create the so-called soft-line effect. This enables erecting aesthetic front elevations with visible narrow division lines. Special strap profiles and suitably shaped tightening and hiding battens were provided for execution of an angled wall in horizontal and vertical cross-section; this way there are no limitations in forming building block.  MB-SR50 system walls may be two-coloured (i.e. the colour on the inside is different than the one on the outside of the front elevation) and two methods for protecting the surface against corrosion may be applied, i.e. painting in line with the RAL palette or anodizing depending on the requirements. The MB-SR50 curtain wall system has been awarded Technical Approval No. ITB AT-15-3393/2003 and has passed complete tests at IFT Rosenheim.
